Introduction:

The Bachelor Tourism learns to manage a tourist project (transport, accommodation, animation  etc ). The subjects taught are mainly oriented towards management, organization and communication, the design and sale of tourism products and the preparation and management in the field of events and congresses.

Underpinned by our research in tourism and hospitality, this degree is suitable for those with career aspirations related to global hospitality and the wider travel and tourism industry.

This program will provide you with an understanding of the origins and development of the tourism and hospitality industries, and the opportunities and challenges facing organisations operating in and across the various allied sectors.

Entry Requirements:

If English is not your first language, you will need to provide evidence that you can understand English to a satisfactory level. English language requirements for this course are normally:

IELTS (Academic) 5.5 with minimum 5.0 in each component of writing, speaking, listening and reading

If you do not meet the English language requirement for your degree then why not join our foundation Program. Successful completion of our foundation program will meet English language requirement and academic requirement, without the need to re-take IELTS.

We accept a wide range of qualifications for study on our undergraduate courses.

A Level : BCC

Standard XII : minimum 50%

Selection Process :

Offers are normally made in terms of grades. Suitable candidates will be invited  for interview to know study purpose , demonstrate academic performance in your schooling to date, language proficiency . Upon satisfactory interview you could be awarded an unconditional offer as part of the college ‘s admission process .

Today the tourism activity offers multiple opportunities. The professions of the journey saw the birth of e-tourism structures offering “turnkey” offers, from booking the flight to program of activities on the spot.

There are therefore new functions to classic craftsmanship of product managers and tour operators designing tourism products, or customer journey.

We thus find yield managers responsible for optimizing offers depending on the volume of reservations. Not to mention webmasters, site testers, travel consultants by telephone.

Salespeople within large travel departments companies are appreciated for negotiating an entire benefit. There remain the traditional jobs of welcoming tourists and valorisation of the patrimony (receptionist, animator of the patrimony, guide lecturer .) in the tourist offices, regional committees and natural parks.
